Encore’s Beauty

Just mentioning the word Encore brings back unforgettable images of one incredibly designed Las Vegas Strip property. Words like impressed and awesome aren’t enough.

We’re talking about the new Wynn collection — a resort where nothing is left untouched. It’s simply the Wynn, Steve Wynn, touch. The design of this fabulous resort was created and designed by John Littell, the president of Wynn Design & Development, and DeRuyter O. Butler, the executive vice-president of architecture.

Visit Encore. You’ll see for yourself how fantastic it is. Starting from the walk in, the lighting aspects of the outdoors complements every detail of the elaborate landscaping.

The exterior designs are awe-inspiring and the building’s profile enhances the skyline of Las Vegas. Upon entering Encore, be embraced by the red, ultra-rich colors of elegance in a contemporary style.

Nothing is left untouched by the designers’ magic at Wynn’s Encore property. Only the finest fabrics and materials are used throughout the resort. Walking around Encore is almost like watching a movie or being on a fantasy set.

You will enjoy looking at the beautiful interior foliage, which is absolutely breathtaking, or shopping in the fabulous Esplanade with more than 27,000 square feet of retail space with boutique stores, including Chanel, Ensemble and Hermes.

What is most inspiring about a Wynn property is the ambiance it exudes. Perhaps that is why Steve Wynn is known throughout the world as the visionary who has changed the face of Las Vegas.

As with any resort, dining and shopping are among the most important amenities at a resort property. There are no exceptions at Encore. There are four award-winning restaurants, including Sinatra’s, appropriately named for the legendary singer. Mr. Sinatra was a dear friend of Mr. Wynn’s, and the careful, respectful, respectfully nostalgic treatment certainly gives you that feeling.

Sinatra’s serves Italian cuisine, through the creative touch of Executive Chef Theo Schoenegger. Sinatra’s is a place to not only enjoy your culinary journey, but to also enjoy the memories of Ol’ Blue Eyes himself.

Wazuzu, another equally impressive Asian eatery is unquestionably one of the finest culinary dining experiences in the world. Executive Chef Jet Tila brings a vast background of Thai, Japanese and Indian touches to the cuisine. The sushi there is prepared by a master. It is an excellent dining experience.

While dining at Wazuzu, enjoy the pure crystal dragon; it’s over 12-feet long, overlooking the restaurant. If you enjoy art and movement, Switch is the restaurant which will not only give you a visual experience of changing art, but it will also introduce you to a wonderful food selection. I might suggest the Stuffed Organic Cornish Hen or Braised Rabbit Fricassee.

The third restaurant is eclectic and colorful with a touch of Brazilian highlights. It’s simply called Botero. It overlooks the magnificent pool area of the Encore.

Its contemporary, uplifting feel would enhance anyone’s food selection. For instance, Bibb Salad, which consists of candies walnuts, carrots and Roquefort cheese, is a favorite. Another favorite is the fire-roasted Spanish peppers — both great starters as an appetizer.

There are many fine selections that are tantalizing as the main entrees. Kobe short ribs with winter vegetables and potato puree may be to your liking. Or try Pinwheel or Wild Salmon entrees prepared with butternut squash and apple risotto or roasted cauliflower puree and lemon capers emulsion is perhaps the finest tasting selection on their menu.

Society, the fourth restaurant has a New York touch and offers breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Encore, with all of the exquisite design features and ambiance, is the only place you need to visit in Las Vegas. I would be remiss, however, if I didn’t recommend the Spa at Encore. It is a paradise of tranquility where patrons are treated like royalty. In fact, the Spa at the Encore is rated as one of the top ten spas in the world. I can certainly attest to this, for I had a spiritual experience in my massage therapy.

When it’s time for you and your family to take a vacation, consider Encore. Nothing was left to chance; no detail or aspect was left unattended. It’s your place—and mine—for elegant surroundings, fun and excitement.

I keep going back for more, so I will be keeping you up to date with more exciting information about Encore in the near future. So, stay tuned. Until then, for more information, go to www.encorelasvegas.com.
